Cross Crew Qualification (CCQ)
The Cross Crew Qualification refers to a reduced type rating transition course which gives credit for the technical similarities and common operational and handling procedures among Airbus Types.
It is ideal for pilots:
- Already qualified on one A320 variant wishing to make the transition onto A330 or A340.
- Already qualified on one A330 variant wishing to make the transition onto A320 or A340.
- Already qualified on one A340 variant wishing to make the transition onto A320 or A330.
The Cross Crew Qualification is also the best solution for airlines with a mixed fleet flying concept.
The training for the Cross Crew Qualification is carefully designed according to the Airbus approved Syllabus while the details and the amount of the training – theoretical training, simulator sessions- depend on the Airbus Type Rating the trainees already hold.
