Cabin Crew Training – Flight Attendants

The European Aviation regulation, states that: “Any Airline shall ensure that each Cabin Crew Member must have successfully completed Initial Training in accordance with EU-REG No 290/2012 and holds an ATTESTATION of Safety Training”. In any Airline Cabin Crew recruitment, the holder of such Attestation has a priority over the other candidates for the flight attendant positions.

Flight attendants are trained to deal with a wide variety of emergencies, specially on First Aid. More frequent situations may include a bleeding nose, illness, small injuries, intoxicated passengers, aggressive and anxiety stricken passengers. Initial Safety Training  training includes rejected take-offs, emergency landings, cardiac and in-flight medical situations, smoke in the cabin, fires, de-pressurization, on-board births and deaths, dangerous goods and spills in the cabin, emergency evacuations, hijackings, water landings, and sea, jungle, Arctic, and desert survival skills.
